MSc fellowships available for full-time study in 2017 at UWC

University of the Western Cape

The Institute for Water Studies at the University of the Western Cape is conducting a 3-year study on non-perennial rivers. We are offering MSc fellowships to study aspects of the aquatic faunas of some of these systems.

The fellowships will provide support in the form of a cash contribution towards costs of living and study fees. Research costs will be met by the project.

Masters studies may extend over no more than two years.

Admission Requirements: A relevant BSc (Hons) degree in biology with statistical or numeral competency.

How to Apply

Please write a letter of motivation (no more than one page!), explaining why you think you would be a suitable candidate for one of these positions. Include the names and telephone numbers of three referees, at least one of whom must have taught you when you were studying for your previous degree.

Please provide your CV and electronic copies only of your academic transcript(s). At this stage, please do not send copies of degree certificates, etc.

For further details, please contact Prof Jenny Day at jenny.day@uct.ac.za.
